You’ll need to be able to cover the cost of hotel and transportation but we have plenty of budget friendly to luxe work-cation recommendations to make the best of it.

Do I get to practice any of the injection techniques during the 2 day Shadowing experience?
No, in fact that’s why it’s referred to as Shadowing AND not a training (not to be confused with the Facial Shadowing approach to injections we’re known for). You and a select few of injector professionals “sit in” or shadow Dr. Thuy Doan during pre-assessment reviews, consultations, injection sessions, and the day-to-day operations of our medspa.
This takes the pressure off of you to perform and helps us retain the trust of our beloved clients. You’re here because you’re already at the top of your game. This is an opportunity to take things to the next level. We trust that you’ll be able to implement our techniques. All you have to do is be present.
What should I bring with me during the days of Shadowing?
We ask that you bring scrubs. Preferably black scrubs so that you fit in seamlessly into the practice. We’ll remind you as the date gets closer. Other than that a notebook, maybe a refillable water bottle. And some really comfy shoes. You’ll be standing most of the time.
What if I need to cancel, change dates, or something prevents me from showing up for my Shadowing date?
To recap, the cost of the Shadowing Experience is $5500. With a $2750 deposit paid at reservation. The remaining $2750 is paid immediately after shadowing is complete. The deposit is nonrefundable – no exceptions. However with one (1) month advance notice, I will allow a one time courtesy rescheduling and will move the deposit over. This gives us time to give your slot to another injector and for them to arrange their travel to our facilities. If for whatever reason you test positive for COVID within 14 days leading up to your shadowing session, I will need PCR proof and can only transfer half the deposit ($1375) to the next available rescheduling date.
Do you cover any of the business running side of things like hiring, finding the perfect space, finding the money for the perfect space?
Yes, and then some. We get into the nitty gritty of a pitch perfect consultation (down to the right verbiage and “what not to say” trigger words that could be hurting your business), social media marketing – like how to take the best before and afters, what content to post, and compelling caption formulas, how to raise capital for your medspa (and even workout a months free rent from you landlord). And don’t forget this is a very intimate training session so come with your questions, big and small. You’ll have plenty of time to ask them. Whether it be about my no pain lip injection numbing and technique or my “less is more” approach to undetectable injection work. Ready to dive in?
Can I do it with a friend or bring my physician assistant with me for the course?
Yes BUT and a big BUT… We can’t always guarantee that you’ll be in the same training. The best way to do that is book immediately and at the same time. After you pay your deposit and pick your date, reach out to us and we’ll do our best. Oh and well you didn’t ask, but just in case, we don’t offer group discounts – so there’s that too.
Do I get some type of certification or proof of completion?
Great question, no, not as of yet. But we encourage you to add us and our contact info to your resumes, or cite us as an experience marker or training in your IG highlights, IG posts, and your company’s website. Many of our shadowers do just that. To be frank, your “before and after” proof will certainly raise a gold flag of excellence. That’s why we require it in our business. You’ll definitely be doing the same after you’ve left our 2 day experience.
